I was born and raised in New Jersey and lived in the state for 20 years until I moved to Phoenix, Arizona. With an interest in writing and telling stories, I was accepted to the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication where I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism. In addition to being a journalism student at Arizona State University, I also worked for AZPreps365, Cronkite News, and Times Media Group, getting the opportunity to be exposed to the written, editorial, and audience engagement aspects of journalism.
Ethical journalism is vital for our world because seeking out information and the truth prevents the public from being divided and manipulated. Since the 2020’s, misinformation and sensationalism have been harming both print and online news companies and dividing audiences with other unethical journalistic practices. I want to be a part of the next generation of journalists that bring people together with their published content, seeking and reporting the honest truth to anyone and everyone.
When I am not publishing news stories, I’m either drawing traditionally in my sketchbook, free writing poetry, listening to music, or reading a collection of different plays by William Shakespeare.
